I voted for DUMA KEY. Its summer and it seems that the beach theme would be nice, especially with an SK twist. :)
I voted for THE STAND because, besides being my all-time favorite, the story begins in June and with the economic times the way that they are, what with Iran and everything else, it just seems like a great read-even if it does take longer than a month. And, ive never been a part of a bookclub like this one.
I voted for Duma Key, simply because the audio was so good that I'd love listening to it again to discuss it. Really, you should all listen to this one on audio. It's great! I wouldn't mind reading The Stand again though. It's my favorite for a reason...
I voted for the Stand - its been years since I read it and it would be a great excuse for a re-read. I might even go for the "expanded" edition as that came out after I read it originally.
can't vote this month. Traveling for work and going to Mexico for vacation. I'll only be packing paperback books. All of my King books are hardback.
I voted for Night Shift because i've already started it. I've been trying to avoid reading The Stand over the summer again. It used to be a tradition i picked up from my sister. Last year I read the Dark Tower series.
I voted for Lisey's Story because I received it as a birthday present, and haven't had the chance to read it yet.
Something about "Firestarter"...The Shop, John Rainbird, pyrokinesis...
This book always gives me a warm feeling. Hehe... okay that was only funny to me... never mind.
I just got a copy of the uncut version of 'The Stand', and was about to start reading it, so that's where my vote's going... although Firestarter would also be great.
And I agree with Paul - it's easy to think the end of the world is just around the corner, that things cannot possibly get worse than this... only to realise that they can...

That being said I voted for Lisey's Story because it's the only King book I've yet to read. I just couldn't get into it the first time I tried.

I am voting for "Four Past Midnight" only because I just purchased it and I was having the intentions of reading it anyway
