I deleted November 1916 by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn because when I checked Amazon, the books available were just too expensive. Sorry I didn't catch this before I sent the email out! All the other books are available new and/or used at a reasonable price.

I actually read King Kaiser Tsar and thought it was absolutely brilliant. I am new to the group and look forward to any choice but couldn't help putting my two cents in.

Wow, it's quite a runoff for second place! Well, not that there really is a second place since we only read the first book, but it's enough to keep The Glass Blowers in the lead!
