Lára Arnarsdóttir I´m still in love with Marius. I´ve been since I read Pandora (the first book I read by Anne Rice)

Then I bought Blood and Gold just because it´s Marius´ story.

message 11: by Lótë (Iris) (new)

Lótë (Iris) I chose Lestat (he's incredible) but I also love Marius. He is my second favorite from The Vampire Chronicles.

message 12: by Yves (new)

Yves Page Khayman

message 13: by Lee (new)

Lee McAulay Has to be Lestat - just an awesome character! But Marius is a very close second...

message 14: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Osborne the only reason I picked other I loved Claudia

message 15: by Ainslynn (new)

Ainslynn Rose I'll always feel intimately for Louis, so I can't argue that my vote is objective. He was the first representation I found wherein, like my own self, being maddeningly sensitive, deep, and affected was represented truthfully: beautiful, intense, grandiose, painful, exquisite.

"An artist, stealing paints from a store, for example, imagines himself to have made an inevitable but immoral decision, and then he sees himself as fallen from grace; what follows is despair and petty irresponsibility, as if morality were a great glass world which can be utterly shattered by one act.”
