My finished beauties! I was first introduced to mozzarella at an Italian Deli in New Jersey. The one pound cheeses came in a nice plump ball. But the two pound cheeses were braided. Just beautiful. And so much fun to pull them apart and eat the strings of fresh creamy cheese. I've never seen it braided anywhere since. So I decided to try it. I'm not sure what they did with the ends, and I didn't master that too elegantly on the first try, but I think it has some promise.

Cynthia The braiding was a total hack job. But I spent a couple hours online last night and have a MUCH better idea now how to do it. Can't wait to try it again, but that'll be a couple weeks I'm sure!

Cynthia Here is the video I found AFTER my braid hack job - just to make it easier if someone else wants to try it. I couldn't find a good video until I realized I should search in Italian instead of English (used babelfish.com to translate for me)
