UniquelyMoi ~ 1-Click RockChick I voted for Qhuay because my exposure to M/M lit is still pretty minimal.

I'll be voting for Qhuay as soon as they get their HEA! Dang it! It had better be soon!

UniquelyMoi ~ 1-Click RockChick I decided I was safe voting for them because they're confirmed HEA.

True! I know it's confirmed, but I don't want to jinx it. :)

message 5: by Jeff (new)

Jeff Erno I voted for Tony & Ryan... but yay!! my own Matt and Petey made it on the list too. Cool

message 6: by Kelgar01 (new)

Kelgar01 I was a little disappointed to find no Sara Bell books on this list. I added votes for The Magic in Your Touch and for Aquamarine.

message 7: by Michael (new)

Michael I HAD to add Promises. Love that book.

Great addition!

UniquelyMoi ~ 1-Click RockChick I added Suzanne Brockmann's Jules and Robin from All Through the Night A Troubleshooter Christmas (Troubleshooters, #12) by Suzanne Brockmann from the Troubleshooter series.

Go to Sara's website, she has Magic and The way you Say My Name up there as freebies.

message 16: by Kelgar01 (new)

Kelgar01 Literotica has a lot of crap, lol, but there are some gems there. If you've read When Irish Eyes are Sparkling, you can find the prequel, When Irish Eyes are Smiling, there too.

message 17: by Kati (new)

Kati I added two books: Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling (fantasy) and Dog Warrior by Wen Spencer (sci-fi), both mainstream and both rockin' awesome!

DeWanda Riya wrote: "LOVE Sara Bell. I haven't read Magic in Your Touch yet, because I can't find it on ebook!"

I never knew it was avail in ebook, read this on the crvboy.org website. There is also a sequel to this "The Way You Say My Name". Enjoy!

Fee My fav series out of all the genre ive read so far has to be the Bareback (Bareback, #1) by Chris Owen series by Chris Owen no other has made me so attached to its main couple and put me through every emotion going

I highly recommend the series :)

message 20: by Buggy (new)

Buggy Thanks for the recommendation Fee. I've got this on my wish list I'll have to make the purchase

message 21: by Fee (new)

Theres also 8 short stories to read on chris owen's website to read between the books if i remember right :)

message 22: by Hellen (new)

Hellen How come Wild Bill and Michael are so far from the top list. I just love them!

message 23: by Barb (new)

Barb Gilmour Qhuay could be my ultimate but until them it is Jacob and Vic :-) good hair all the way!!

message 24: by Laura (new)

Laura Tobias and Noah from the Deviations series. Ty and Zane from the Cut and Run series and Rock and Rig from the Jarheads.

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ I laughed when I saw LU is on this list. Is it because of Vutch or because the ghost is the opposite of femininity?

I'd love to vote for Vutch but rather use LR for it.

message 26: by Buggy (last edited May 15, 2012 01:47AM) (new)

Buggy I voted for the sake of Butch and V, sigh!

message 27: by Melanie~~ (new)

Melanie~~ I have read Tall, Dark & Hungry and do not believe it belongs on this list as there is not a character (much less a main character) who is specifically identified as gay and who is part of a romantic couple.

I suspect the same is true of the other Argeneau books, but I can not say for certain.

message 28: by Buggy (last edited Jun 20, 2012 12:29PM) (new)

Buggy Hi Melanie, I agree with you and although uncomfortable removing books (Goodreads takes it seriously) I have removed all the books from the Argeneau series. I have read a couple of them and there definitely wasn't a gay character involved in her (L Sand's) world. I also removed Twilight?! Yeah, whatever on that.

message 29: by Kelly (last edited Jun 20, 2012 09:33AM) (new)

Kelly Twilight was on this list? Huh?

I have a couple in mind, but they never had their own book, they just showed up throughout a series. I loved Oz and Devlin in The ACRO series.

message 30: by Buggy (last edited Jun 20, 2012 06:15PM) (new)

Buggy Yeah Twilight seems to make it onto every list?

I would add the ARCO book(s) Kelly, I mean some of the BDB books are on there for only a couple of characters so why not?

message 31: by Kelly (new)

Kelly OK, maybe I'll go ahead and add them then, Buggy. :)

message 32: by Eiri (new)

Eiri Independent books are great and all, but there are some fantastic gay couples in mainstream books too!

As far as I'm concerned, Suzanne Brockmann's Jules and Robin frigging OWN this category.

They meet in her book Hot Pursuit, are featured in Force of Nature, and then steal the show in All Through the Night and Beginnings & Ends.

Read them, and see if you don't just totally love them too!

message 33: by Buggy (last edited Jun 27, 2012 08:52PM) (new)

Buggy Hi Eiri, I totally agree All Through The Night is #62 on the list. Some of the other "mainstream" couples are already here too, from the BDB and Lorelie James' Roughriders series and Lauren Dane. Force of Nature and Hot Pursuit are on the list

Feel free to add any more Mainstream couples you can think of.

message 34: by JM ♔ Pipsqueak (new)

JM ♔ Pipsqueak Qhuay, can't wait!!
Lover At Last (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #11) by J.R. Ward

message 35: by Buggy (new)

Buggy Me either JM :)

message 36: by JM ♔ Pipsqueak (new)

JM ♔ Pipsqueak I've been waiting for their story ever since they appeared, Buggy.

message 37: by Buggy (new)

Buggy I think we all have JM. I'm just surprised (happy but surprised) that we're getting their story. Ward has a lot of expectations to live up to

message 38: by Glamdring (new)

Glamdring I don't think that Lover Unbound should be in this list since Vishous. Just saying.

message 39: by Buggy (last edited Aug 22, 2012 01:23PM) (new)

Buggy Yeah but....he loved/s Butch and many feel that Butch is V's true HEA. They would have to be one of my favorite couples even if they're not "officially" together, they still get their moments

message 40: by JM ♔ Pipsqueak (new)

JM ♔ Pipsqueak I feel that too, Buggy. Their moments are intense.

message 41: by Glamdring (new)

Glamdring Yes, but though he has strong feelings for V, Butch isn't into men, even V. Anyway, they both end up happily matted with a woman.

message 42: by Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ (last edited Oct 10, 2012 01:45PM) (new)

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ Uhm, Butch is V-sexual and V is not happily mated at all. LUnl clearly showed that. It also showed once again that V and Butch are meant for each other.

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ I added LR, btw!

message 44: by Buggy (new)

Buggy I agree with you 100% Sarah, and I think I'm V-sexual too

message 45: by ♥ Melody (last edited Aug 23, 2013 01:04PM) (new)

Rough Canvas by Joey W. Hill is the best m/m couple ever.

Also enjoyed Marie Sexton Promises although I couldn't really compare either of these to Qhuay

Agreed! Jules and Robin were my first exposure to MM romance (within a mainstream romance) and I freaking love them! I have even (mostly) forgiven Robin for breaking Jules heart repeatedly in the beginning. lol.

I enjoyed "Try" by Ella Frank. The second book in this series comes out this summer. The couple reminds me of Blay and Qhinn from BDB series. Good read. I also enjoyed "Siren Beloved" by Sophia Oak. It has MMF but some intense MM scenes too. Happy reading :)
