I'm glad someone made me read this book
The book club, the high school teacher or college professor, the parent, the extremely bossy friend... someone pushed these books on you, and you were unexpectedly pleased.

Technically, I can't vote, because no one has ever MADE me read anything...other than Tw-ehem (thanks a bunch, cousin.) And I will never vote Tw-ehem.

Yeah, this is a hard list to vote on. I can't vote for most of the books I absolutely love, because I wasn't forced to read them.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I'd probably never have read most of my favourites were it not for the required reading at uni...
I'm never really FORCED to read anything, and I don't usually take anyone's reccommendations (even my best friend's), but when I DO take them, most of the time, I like the book.
