I bought this book for two reasons: I really liked the cover art and there's a hyperbolic blurb from Harlan Ellison blazoned across the top of it.
I liked it, okay. This is one of those books that has some kind of underlying meaning that I'm probably not getting on the first read. If you're looking for plot and characterization, look elsewhere.
