By far the most difficult and taxing Wallace book I've read so far (I've been told it's his most difficult, period). He said in interview that some stories in this anthology displayed his biggest weakness as a writer, that was to show off his skills and his culture. I have to agree. A few stories are beautiful, breathtaking even. I'm thinking here of "Lyndon" and "Here & There". I think it's the Wallace book you should read last.
