I love this book and I'm not just saying that because I short poem of mine appears in it. In these days of chaos, what better time to focus on friends in stories and verse! There are many views of friends here and each one pulls us farther into the book and reminds us of the best parts of our lives: our friends.

I also truly enjoyed the story My Hero, My Dad...reminded of my relationship with my dad. I enjoyed the books so much that I will be buying a couple copies for friends as Christmas presents. Think is will be a fantastic choice for two of my best friends.

This book contains a variety of tales that will appeal to everyone. There are short verses of poetry between each story, and it is a difficult book to set aside once you begin reading.

This is the best anthology I have read to date. The blend of talent and philosophies from nearly 50 different authors from a diverse range of backgrounds spanning the globe, leaves a savoury after-taste and thirst for more!

Comments about some of the stories:
(My Hero, My Dad) I enjoyed your story – “My Hero, My Dad.”
The tribute you gave your Dad was most thoughtful and deserving. While reading the story, there were things you did in your youth that reminded me of the same things – like rising early in the morning to check on traps. With me it was muskrats and skunks. I suppose people of our generation did things like that.
(My Hero, My Dad) This is a great story. ... It is one ...more
