Boy, this book just FLEW along. I felt like I blinked and I was 80 pages in, and it didn't really let up all the way to the end. So, as a smoothly-written, interesting non-fiction book, I think it succeeded.

The part I had trouble with was the subject matter, for a couple of different reasons.

One, some of the descriptions of surgeries, cell sample collection, etc., were rather gross.

Two, I had an extremely difficult time reading about the behavior of some of the participants, particularly Deborah

Good reading! Describes man's misuse of his scientific power on ordinary humans and one woman's courage which rises above the evil of science. Thanks to Rebecca Skloot for her bravery and her not giving up!
