Read in December, 2004
Love Bill Bryson? I do, and I thought this book was great. Bryson's got a wonderfully oddball way of looking at things, and this book was no exception. Seems to me as a good example of a book about traveling, for people who have travelled. Not too much use as a guidebook - but you already have a Lonely Planet, don't you?
