I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book. The premise of the military altering humans to become better soldiers is not new, but Eve Langlais' take on humans becoming cyborgs is orginal. I don't thinkI have read a romance quite like this one and it was refreshing for a change. For the length I thought the characters were well developed and likable, and I was nicely surprised by the twist at the end. I've already started reading book two :)

Well well well, this book is definitely something else. I’ve been trying to think if I have ever read a cyborg romance – I can’t say I have. At first I was hesitant about this book. I mean, sure, its Eve Langlais and she is an authorical (new word I’m inventing) genius, but cyborgs? Hot steamy love? I wasn’t buying it. And what do I think now? Bought!!! I loved it!!

Once again, another book from Eve Langlais that I thoroughly enjoyed. I utterly loved Joe! He was so caring, sweet, and protective. Such as with the guard, getting shot at, whenever someone so much as made a comment about Chloe that he didn't like, and his reaction when they lost her. Chloe was so cute. She did what she had to do, and she truly cared about Joe. I felt so bad for what she went through. I thought Seth was funny, and I cracked up at Joe's reactions to his comments.
