There's some great stories in this collection, including Tony Takitani. The short story form suits Murakami's surreal and phantasmagoric landscapes well, and though there are some misfires, there's more good stuff in here than bad.

i think haruki murakami is one of very few authors who can strike a chord with me. his stories about loneliness are always amazingly good. this one is no exception. contains 24 short stories - it is a wonderful collection
