What Members Thought
This was a terrible book. It had so much potential and the author reportedly received a number of awards for her writing, but this book stank. There was no depth of character, the plot was transparent, and the editing was non-existent. It was impossible for me to overlook the flaws in grammar and spelling and ended up skimming the last 150 pages.
This book has everything! We meet Olivia, a struggling, creative, single who falls into a twisted little mystery/who-done-it. Olivia has a "gift," and we learn a lot about the characters from her. As I read it, I enjoyed the touch of romance, the soothing aunt, the awkward best friend and the steps to which Olivia would go to try and save both her company and her life.
