This book is an excellent read for anyone into nonfiction. And you don't have to be a doctor or biology major to understand it! Having a natural sciences background helped with some of the more genetics/molecular bio intense sections, but Mukherjee explains everything so well that any lay person could understand it. He writes with a thrilling narrative to bring you into the history and milestones of the modern study of cancer. And there are a couple pages of pictures. I love any book that includ ...more
