One word:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

More words:

I'm done. I don't want to be done. I need more Silvio. I need to know more.

Tne series as a whole - one of the best reads ever. No, not sweet. No, not relatable. No, not happy. No, not safe. No, not satisfying. And maybe because of all that, and presented without apology, that's why I loved it so much. I don't even quite understand. Can I go back to vanilla books or am I doomed?

Volume 5 was my least favorite - probably because I read it with suc

This review is for the full work Dark Soul 1-5.

There were a lot of things I loved and a few things I had problems with. Aleksandr Voinov's writing always draws me in and goes places I don't expect. Some volumes worked better than others, but overall it is a good story.

The characters were wonderful. Silvio is so messed up and broken yet so strong, looking to belong, I loved him. Donata is level headed and thinks for herself and thankfully not written as a harpie. Stefano is a hot mess. I felt for

i've enjoyed this story from the beginning.

Vol 5 is the end :( and its one of those reads that ties up a lot of the loose ends, yet leaves, just a little bitty to the imagination.

Vol 5 has a lot of revelations in it, mostly sebastiano but also a pretty clear understanding of silvio. the end had me biting my nails...will he, won't he, he will, wait maybe he won't, oh he so can, but maybe not :P :P

Spoiler: i was hoping and praying that Donata would step up to the plate and i was not disappointe

So my power went off this morning due to a tree breaking in half and dropping over the hydro wires just down the street. I had a fully charged e-reader and time to spare, so, I decided to finish up the Dark Soul series. OH MY! I don't give out 5 stars easily, but this volume definitely merits them for many reasons. There were touching moments that grabbed my heart, not the least being the puppy. There was tension and not only sexual. There were moments of introspection on both Stefano's and Silv ...more

It's been a wonderfully ingenious ride that I'm sad to see come to an end. The Dark Soul series has been intense and immensely satisfying from the very beginning and this final installment is a nice conclusion. From the moment Stefano Marino laid eyes on Silvio Spadaro he knew his life would change and with this final book we see just how much things changed.

With each book in this series there's a build-up of tension, a feeling of a ticking clock. You know things can't end well for Stefano and

I was given this book for my honest thoughts and opinions.. So here goes...

For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... h

I loved every bit of these 5 novellas? Stories? Books? I'm not sure what you call them, but its short stories broken up into different volumes. The only thing that's wrong with them is that there isn't MORE DAMMIT!! I want more! I need more about Franco, and I need more about the attorney brother of Silvio's whose name I cannot spell and am too lazy to look up. I want more Silvio and Stefano. I want more of Silvio's back history. I want more of Silvio's and Franco's bizarre relationship. I want ...more
