I bought this book in Spain last July and started reading it with high expectations.
I love historical fiction. I have written two books that take place in medieval Spain and at present, I am researching 11th century Spain as the background for a new novel. The time and place of La reina oculta were close enough to spark my interest, even before I learned that it had won the prestigious award Alfonso X el Sabio.
