What Members Thought

This book involved me, and interested me, in ways that I would not have imagined.

Of course, it is a detailed accounting of Steve Jobs, as brilliant, quirky, self-centered, grandiose, socially inept, and quirky (deserves to be said twice) an individual as one is likely to read about. I don't mean to mince words: he was really really totally seriously weird. And brilliant. And had a brighter and bolder view of the future than most any 100 people put together.

What I did not expect was how the book
A good even-handed biography of the fine line between genius and madness that was Jobs.

Isaacson lost one star for too much boardroom info and too little about his role at Pixar.

Comments on Karma: Don't park in disabled spaces - you might need them yourself one day. Don't give to vent your spleen - it's closely associated to your pancreas.

As I write this on my (Android) phone, my lasting impression is of a man who tried to stare down cancer and lost...
