This is pretty standard mystery fare, but it is a big improvement over the first two books in the series. The author used Austen characters in an interesting way, especially Henry Crawford. It wasn't gripping, but there were a few unexpected plot twists. The events of Mansfield Park were altered just a little bit, but nothing to really annoy me, with or without my JA filter on.
