I have always admired Syrie James' previous novels and I was so excited to read her new one. And I wasn't disappointed.
The writing was wonderful and Syrie James makes you feel that you are in the time period of the book. After reading about Dracula from another perspective, I am thinking of re-reading the original Dracula by Bram Stoker again.
