Out of the Brandon Mull books, I'd have to say this is my favorite. I think the biggest put off of this book is the title. But if you actually read it it gets exciting, adventrous and unforgettable. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Ben absolutely loved this book. (I suspect he identifies with the fifth grade adventure-seeking crowd.) It didn't really pick up and get interesting for me until about halfway through. After that it was delightful and fun, but I probably won't be reading this again until my boys are old enough to appreciate it.

This book is in a class of it's own. I recommend this to everyone. Kids and adults. This book is about four average fourth-grade kids who have a new cnady shop open in their town. The owner ask them to work for her. It is an-all-new-twist ending at the end. Really great!
