Brandon makes every character come to life, from mischievous satyrs, ambitious kids and imposing dragons. I breezed through all four books in this series in two weeks. I couldn't put them down. Wow, Brandon. You've really done it. This is amazing. Extremely twisted, cliffhanger ending. If I didn't love the book so much, I would have thrown it against my bedroom wall because I was so sad it had to end where it did.

I loved that this was a page turner, without completely disrupting my life the way many books can. The story was rich and fully developed, but it didn't take weeks to wade through it. I especially love the way that Seth's character has matured and developed. I can't wait for #5!

OMGS AMAZING the ending was like GRR and gavin!! HOLY CRAP!! loved it, brandon mull's writing is getting stronger and stronger as he writes more of the series.
