I loved it. I loved how it was formatted, the poetry that is poetry and a story at the same time. The rhymeless horror and insanity, coping and hating. It's amazingly written, and the characters are so real, so close that you can almost imagine them as your friends, or even, yourself. An amazing book that took me but a few days to tackle, though it was well over 600 pages.

I have chosen Ellen Hopkins as an author that I have followed and continue to like her stories of young adults who have something to say to our culture and subculture about coming of age.
