Just finished Nightshade and yes, Another Winner! I enjoyed how Susan allowed us to see China's husband, McQuaid, from his viewpoint and as more of a participant. I did have to read some of the wording again in a couple places because to me it didn't ring right. I finished it in 1 1/2 days!!! I hate it when I finish a gooood book too fast. :)Can't wait for the nex one!

Reading one of Susan Wittig Albert's China Bayles books is like revisiting old friends and your own hometown. This time, though, she stretched out to Austin, a town I thought I was quite familiar with. However, I learned things about Austin that I didn't know. And I also learned more about China Bayles and her past.

Another great mystery from Susan Wittig Albert. In this tale, she delves into China's past to solve the mystery surrounding her father's death. She also provides a look at things from China's husband's viewpoint. Wittig Albert's mysteries are always a good read.

I enjoyed this book, it was quite different from the usual China Bayles mysteries, and I like the direction it is moving.

An absolutely excellent finish for the story started in 'Bleeding Hearts' and continued in 'Spanish Dagger.'

I like the style. McQuaid sort of speaking was different, but it worked well. Very enjoyable.
