Read in April, 2009
A cute story about a girl and her dog. Michelle loves to read to her dog, Moka, and he is inspired to see how his kin in the wild (wolves) live after hearing a particularly exciting story one day. Moka discovers both the exhilaration and fear that come with trying to be something you're really not. The book doesn't break new ground, but I think it is a sweet, solid picture book choice.
