I have lived largely in the dark when it comes to the Bible, so this was an unfamiliar story to me. I will describe it as it was for me, though I can easily imagine it to be a different experience for each reader.

My favorite book in the whole world! It changed my life, changed everything I believe about myself as a woman. Very empowering.

awesome book! this story takes you back to a time in the bible where people caravan-ed through the desserts. its a story of sisters, mothers, women during this time when they would rely on each other during child birth, marriage, life, the stories that were exchanged when they would congregate to the tent once a month. it is an awesome book, one you can't put down till your done reading it. it has you turning the pages. a must read, and a keeper for your book shelf.
