A really average read - the characters in this series are really interchangeable. They all seem alike with no distinguishing characteristics besides their accents.

I don't know how or why these two fell in love. They seem distant during the whole book and at some point they hopped in bed and started to proclaim their ever ending love. Both had been mated before but they never talked to each other about their mates, except for Tegan to explain how he lost his. He kept referring to her a 'sweet gi

Quick Take: Loved it! My fave so far. The two leads were a great and compelling match. I'd recommend having read book two before jumping into the series with this book.

Midnight Awakening (The Midnight Breed, Book 3) OMG!The Crypt was EMPTY!The series gets better with each book!To heck with the comparisons to BDB, this is a completely different story.Yes, there are similarities to the BDB with the band of warriors, but really, BDB as the only one out there is absurd. And the women in this ...more

Just as good as the first two.

5 stars - Vampire Romance

Midnight Awakening focuses on the unlikely relationship that develops between brooding Breed warrior Tegan and Darkhaven widow Elise. Tegan is dark, volatile, solitary, sexy, and surprisingly tender. This is probably the steamiest book in the series due to the great chemistry and sexual tension between Tegan and Elise. I loved this book! The Midnight Breed series rocks!
