I found myself wanting to be Jenny's friend, all the while swooning over David, as well as Jack, David's friend and fellow soldier, whom David believes was killed in battle. I can't wait to read Ms. Wylie's sequel, which tells the tale of Jack and his wife, Lila, in Lila's Vow."
