Read in October, 2009
Read this one for book club at the library. I know it was a best seller; I know that people have raved about it. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan. While Edwards is certainly a talented writer, the story was just.too.heavy. There was very little joy or light in the book. Every character was overwhelmingly sad and discontent. Honestly, many of the characters weren't very likeable either. Not that this makes for a bad book, it just makes it tough to read. Overall, I liked it, didn't love it.
