This is probably my favorite play to read. I love the zaniness of it all.

A star-studded production of Oscar Wilde's comedy. With Dame Judi Dench, Martin Clunes, Samantha Bond and Michael Sheen.

So incredibly witty and funny!! Wilde is wonderful with words and has an amazing sense of humor! Great characters and hilarious dialog.

Also, I might take this moment to suggest the movie version with Colin Firth and Rupert Everett (sp?). I think it’s done exceptionally well, and I appreciate the interpretation of the script!

I played a part in my high school performance of the Importance of Being Ernest...eons ago! Not sure I understood the story until years later when I read the book. Fond memories of this story and play.

I saw this play several years before I read it - and it is a theatrical warhorse for a reason.
