As I got into the book, I enjoyed the read, but the Pillars really stuck with me more. For some reason, through out this book, I feel that the characters were much more self centered (both the villians as well as the protagonists) and I found myself questioning decisions that they made.

I will be completely honest, I didn't finish this book, but it wasn't because the book was bad. It was due to bad timing and the book wasn't really my style. It didn't move fast enough for me to get hooked, so I just couldn't keep reading it because its really long and it would have taken me a long time. Maybe someday I'll finish it!
