I love this book. When I was substituting at my old high school, there were a bunch of students reading this bright green covered book instead of doing their work. I was fascinated at what was so good about it that they wanted to read it so much, so I went to my local library and checked it out before I got home. I was totally hooked to this book from the moment I started reading it. The main character is very interesting and great to listen to. Like many other people, he reminds me of Hold...more

anybody who wants some a little different
It has an "almost famous" appeal to it - dorky kid hanging out with not-so-dorky friends. Not full of rainbows and butterflies.
