Read in February, 2008
I have been a fangirl since I was 12. Although at one point i left the X-world out of exhaustion and annoyance from Marvel throwing "X" on everything to make a buck without making any of make sense. So away to land of indie comics I went. Until a friend gave this as a gift and i was hooked. The writing is good and I continue to follow Astonishing now even after other writers have take over. I am still rather pleased with the turn Astonishing Xmen has taken

i have to admit i was really impressed by Joss Whedon's X-Men, even though i'm a fan, i never thought he'd do a good job on this, but i was wrong, it is rather good :)
