Well it only took two sittings to finish the bonus story The Bet found after Family Affair in this new mass marketing printing edition. I often enjoy Debbie Macomber and felt I would probably enjoy her pick from a contest. In the end it was a good story that ended well. Overall it kept my attention and I wanted to know what would come next. Being general market it was a clean and fun romantic read. I read this book in about an hour and enjoyed the book. Could relate to the character Lacey and understand how she felt, having been through the same thing years ago. Would recommend this book and would probably read it again down the road.

It was a sweet love story. If you are looking for a typical sappy love story and quick read you'll love this, if that isn't your thing you won't love it. I enjoyed it. The book is about 100 pages so makes for a very quick read wether you love it or hate it.

Family Affair is a novella about Lacey a woman who is divorced and Jack who is her neighbor. It is pretty predictable. Not nessacarily a bad read but deffinitly not a reread.
Janet
Cute, easy read. Took just a few hours.

A quick and interesting read. Great for a snowy or rainy day.

Such a cute book! I enjoyed the characters of Lacy and her next door neighbor Jack. Lacy is not too sure what to think about Jack's cat ( who is named Dog )...and then one day - her cat and Jacks cat meet.. I dont want to give anything away! =)

This is a short book with about 95 pages, its a cute story!
