Although Freidman has written an elaborately researched and persuasive theory on the changes modern technology has made on the few brief years of this 21st century, his writing style needs changing. Most of his arguments could have been explained, explored, and proven with far fewer words and examples. So much of the material covered was overexplained, making what should be a worthwhile read quite tedious at times. globalization chronicler Friedman is a great storyteller - but some of his discoveries gave "duh" moments. especially after you read Negroponte.
