[close] I searched to find a group specifically created for writers to post excerpts from their books, either those in publication or those still in progress, but was unable to find one. So I decided to create it myself and to get the ball rolling I'll post 3 excerpts, one from my novella Feeding the Squirrels, one from my novel Patches of Grey, and one from the novel I'm currently working on - Matters of Convenience. Hopefully many more excerpts (all varieties of fiction, non-fiction prose, and poetry) from a diverse selection of authors will follow. I look forward to reading them as I'm sure many others here at GoodReads will as well. Feedback for the posters, particularly in the form of honest compliments, is of course welcomed. [close]
