[close] I'm always on the lookout for new literary fiction that's more beautiful than it is clever, that's experimental without being unreadable, that's crafted without being lifeless etcetera. Authors I've discovered lately that fall into this category are David Francis (Agapanthus Tango), Christine Schutt (Florida), Carole Maso (The Room Lit by Roses), Zachary Mason (The Lost Books of the Odyssey, forthcoming in february 2008) and Lucy Corin (The Entire Predicament), but I know there's much, much more where they came from, if only I could find them!
