Chicago Gay Men's Book Club

[close] We have a few rules for the book club:

1. We keep active membership at 15 guys, and there is usually a waiting list to join, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t join right away,

2. This is NOT a virtual book club. We meet once a month and attendance at meetings is required! If you have to miss a meeting from time to time that is OK, but missing three consecutive meetings will result in your removal from the club,

3. Participation in meetings, which includes actually reading the books, is also required, (and we will know if you didn’t read it),

4. Our meetings are BYOB and each member brings a covered dish to share (which gives you an opportunity to show off your culinary skills).

The rules have enabled our book club to meet every month for over 5 years, and we do enforce them! [close]
