done working! spent the last three days in VA working and got up at 4:30am to drive to the airport and catch a 6am flight from Lynchburg to ATL and then another flight to IND. stopped by the office on my drive home and said "see ya monday sucka's" and came home. my eyes are burning now. sleepytime will be wonderful tonight
i have the lame lighter/encore app for my iphone. c'mon david, the real concert experience is a contact buzz from the dudes next to you torching one and a burned right thumb from holding up your Bic for the entire guitar solo of Layla. that and some j-hole four rows back throwing beer on you (which entitles you to hit him in the face with a wadded up cup of ice full bore at 7')
i am the guy version of imelda marcos. i have more shoes than any guy i know. bout 7 pairs of boots (current favs are doc martens) for various outdoor activities, a couple of pairs of keen shoes and sandals, one pair of nice dress black shoes (square toe), a funky pair of jeans wearin shoes (clunky with a big buckle), slip-on canvas sketchers, one pair of running shoes (i don't run much unless being chased by something/someone), a pair of basketball playing shoes, leather flip-flops and a couple of pairs of softball cleats.i also wear a 12/13 but my new SIL wears a 20 (no jokes here gang, he is married to my daughter)
ok, i will clean the mannequin body parts and the lingerie out of the back seat of my truck and buy a lighter for encores
just read the The Book Of Basketball by the ESPN Sports Guy Bill Simmons. i recommend it if you are a rabid NBA fan. 700 pages of intesting, funny and sometimes true stuff. lots of good stuff on larry and magic along with ALL the other greats
Houses of the HolyWas an album
by Led Zeppelin
I bought it on eight track
Not on CD
Fades out in the middle
The way an eight track's s'posed to
The way an eight track's s'posed to
just a shout out to 8-tracks (via the Rugburns - Me And Eddie Vedder)
whatta day!!! left the house at 7:30am and went to the airport. many many delays and such later (two flights, a sprint through the CHA airport and a clueless 2 hour drive thru a very dark VA and i am finally at my hotel.great room, monday nite football and a fully belly. now checking up on some friends (hint....you guys)
i had a friend who was from the UK who married a girl from Mexico and they moved to the US. every third day of the year was some kind of holiday for them to celebrate
i usually read a non-fiction more intellectual read and then a quick-read fiction novel and then rotate.
i am going to read superfreakonomics by steven levitt. i am ready for a more intelligent read and i loved the first one. i also am ready for another malcom gladwell book
considering Trans Siberian Orchestra again this year on 12/23. that is one excellent show. i thought tadpole was going to invite me to go see Faith No More but i guess it is not going to happen.
every day where you wake up and you're not frozen to the flagpole is thankgiving in canada is thanksgiving
planning on taking my wife to see The Blind Side over the long weekend. also planning on coppin' a feel in the movies with her and then taking her parking behind the old PPG plant for old times sake. that oughtta make the high ticket prices worth it
wow, i def am envious! i have never been to south africa. yes, def take an extra memory card and then post all pics on flickr or shutterbucket. have a wonderful time sarah and be safe
why do so many NBA (and NFL and MLB) teams recycle the same coaches/mgr's year after year? i also agree with the MJ assessment. Larry (the BB Jesus) has hurt the pacers for years
did anyone see the Les Miles of LSU coaching brainfart?i agree gus, bonehead. along with the pass play over the middle on a very shortened field by Flacco against my colts? who called that play? you run it safely right up the middle where you get a good hash mark spot and if you don't get the first down or TD you kick a go ahead FG and then kick off deep and let manning beat you from 80+ yrds out with less than 2 minutes
