9876 I'm working through Wednesday. It's very quiet here this morning. Not much traffic on the street, either. I guess some people managed to save some vacation time.

9876 The cranes come into Nebraska in unbelievably large numbers Jackie. The first time I saw them I was amazed at how many gather up here along the Platte River and the sand hill section of the state. Hundreds of thousands of them at a time!

9876 Okay, yes, that's right. I was thinking of the trip in the other direction in the spring. :)

Have you ever seen them in Nebraska, Jackie?

9876 Thanks, Heidi. I'm certainly not getting any work done, though. But who cares? Not I!

9876 This is so cool. *gets a shiver up spine*

9876 I agree, Jim. They might look small and slow because they are so high in the air.

9876 That's a perfect skill to have when someone (taller) is bowing in front of you. Nose biting, I mean.

9876 Go for it, Heidi. Jackie's a good hugger.

No -- that Jackie would come through (again).

9876 Mourning dove. Yup. I shoulda thought of that, too.

I'm open to that, Heidi.
