970 Kim,

I live in SF and would love to exchange books. Unfortunately, I can't do it on the 11th- I have to work. I am usually available Mon,Wed evenings, and sometimes Sundays. Would it be possible to change the date? If the 11th works the best for everyone else, than perhaps I can meet up with the fellow bookworms of the bay area another time.
970 I am planning on reading the ones I already have but never read, about 20 or so. Then I think I will just meander down the list according to which one I find next at the bookstore.

970 Ugh, I finished it but I have to say this was one book that I did not like. It does pick up a bit in the second half when the professor starts reading the queens memoirs on her way to Korea. However,if you are only 100 pages in, you have a long way to go before that happens. Good luck!

970 Arukiyomi,
Thanks for making the spreadsheet available. It's quite a handy tool!

970 The Shining- Stephen King.
Though it is hard to read without conjuring images of Jack Nicholson, it's still scary and unnerving- a great spooky Halloween read.

970 Disgrace-J.M. Coetzee
I was continually exasperated by the choices the characters made. Despite this or perhaps because of it, they have definitely stayed with me.
I recommend it as a compelling, thought provoking read.
