Brittany, I'm not sure this list is the be-all and end-all of literature. My rule of thumb is to read what you enjoy, if the books you enjoy aren't on this list -- oh well!

The same applies to those "100 Best Movies of All-Time" lists.

I too prefer the Remains of the Day to NLMG. Haven't read other Ishiguro, though.

Hmm, either Never Let Me Go, or Stranger in a Strange Land.

I'm up to 60. There's 0 chance of me completing that list, though.
