Finally finished. I never would have thought I'd struggle to find an "N" that I wanted to read, but I finally did. (Linda Nagata - The Bohr Maker)
July was a great month - 19 books gets me to 73. I might have an outside chance to beat last year's total of 114.
June update: 10 books completed in June, which brings me to 54 for the year. The goal of 75 should be met easily.
May update: 11 books got knocked off this month (the whole list is in my "2008" shelf) for a total of 44 through May. A couple of business trips with air travel sure helped.
April update: 8 books completed (33 for the year). My whole list is in my book list on the "2008" shelf.
I've conquered "X" - Alan Xenakis (Why Doesn't My Funny Bone Make Me Laugh?). Okay enough book, but I wouldn't rush out to find it, unless you really, really need to knock off "X".
This should be pretty fun to try. I'm going to shoot for last names only, but especially filling in Q and X should be challenging - I didn't find anything too interesting in a quick search of my library's catalog.A: David Allen (Ready for Anything)

L: Elizabeth Little (Biting the Wax Tadpole)
M: Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men)

S: Rebecca Shafir (The Zen of Listening)
T: Lynne Truss (Talk to the Hand)
U: John Updike (Rabbit, Run)
V: Jules Verne (Journey to the Centre of the Earth)

X: Alan Xenakis (Why Doesn't My Funny Bone Make Me Laugh?)
Y: Paul Yeager (Literally, the Best Language Book Ever)

I'm going to wrap up about 110-112 books in 2007, but 2008 will afford me less time to read. I'm shooting for 75.
January update: 5 books completed, which puts me slightly behind schedule, but as of Feb. 3, I have 2 more already completed and about 45 minutes to finish a 3rd.
