I really enjoyed all three movies, even though none of them were particularly fantastic. They're cheesy zombie movies, with plenty of eye-candy (Milla + Oded = win) to keep fans happy.

I actually really enjoyed Extinction, but I was biased the moment I first saw promotional material and realized Milla was running around with a set of kukris. It definitely was the weakest of the three for me, but I still had a blast watching it and plan on picking up a copy on DVD when it's released.

I'm definitely going to have to go with Land of the Dead on this. While I did get a lot of very loud laughs off during it...last I checked laughing hysterically wasn't supposed to be the point of a zombie movie (with the obvious exception of Shaun of the Dead). I was glad I went with a few friends that all thought it was funny, at least, because we did have a good time laughing at it.

I just got back from seeing this one and had a blast--it was definitely what I was expecting from it, so it was a lot of fun and not a disappointment. Anyone expecting a mind-blowing, thought-provoking movie was probably a little disappointed. ;) The first one is definitely still my favorite, but I can't complain that I wasn't entertained.

Wish they had shown what happened to Jill, though, since she played a pretty big part in the second movie and wasn't even mentioned in this one.

So glad to hear people are enjoying this one! My sister and I are big fans of the first two, but I promised I'd wait until she's back in town to see this one with her...so I have to wait a few weeks. The previews are driving me crazy with anticipation!
