This is truly an awesome thing. So full of win I'm pissed I didn't think of it for my own wedding last year. Damn my eyes! Nonetheless, check it out.

I went over to a friend's place last night and her roommate is a huge zombie-phile. I immediately saw Patient Zero sitting on their bookshelf. I'm only up to page 21, but just lovin' the fact that I'm finally able to read this. When I saw the book I said, "Hey! That guy's in my GoodReads Zombie group." Which tickled me, but my friend had no idea what the hell I was talking about. :o) Her loss.
Here's a link to G4's site to see the interview with the creators of ZOMBIELAND.

I saw the two creators on Attack of the Show last week talking about how they wrote this back in 2005 for a TV series. Obviously no network picked up the pilot. Jerks. Should've been time for the networks to nut up or shut up.
I was lucky enough to see this at a preview screening a couple weeks ago. I must say it was highly entertaining if not a tad educational. Well maybe not for us seasoned zombie-philes but still. Woody Harrelson is HILARIOUS! It's not a cheesy zombie romp but a clever journey of survivors. A few fun surprises, lots of action, good chemistry with all the actors. I can't wait to see this again!
I saw a preview for this on Friday before Year One. This looks truly like a fun movie, though the zombies run for those finicky zombie fans. I loved the bit about using Purell. My 9 yr. old daughter and I laughed often throughout the trailer. As for Woody beating up a photographer? Well maybe he hadn't had his wake and bake yet that day. ;o)
I hadn't even heard of it until you posted this. Thanks for posting by the way. The link didn't work for me but I had no trouble finding it on Amazon.com.
It's a graphic novel! I'm so thrilled!
Early Christmas present for moi? Oh hell yeah, you bet!
I bought The Zen of Zombie: Better Living Through the Undead for my husband. It's not a story book but a humorous "self-help" book, which fits well amongst the killing and survival zombie books. It's okay to also laugh at a zombie's expense. :o)
I remember you mentioning this movie a while back. I still need to ad it to my Netflix list. Happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Brilliant! Thank you, Natalie. Simon Pegg is a great writer. I read an article by him about comedy in general (perhaps US humor vs. everyone else) back when Run, Fat Boy, Run! came out, which was just as wise and witty. I dig the ever lovin' f*** outta Simon Pegg. He is SO cool!
Natalie, just taking your awesome lead. However, that damn Carmina Burana would be good driving music, provided you could go 100 mph. :o)
I'd like something a bit more classic playing loudly in my head whilst I cut down the walking dead. Billie Holiday and James Brown, yeah? Carl Orff's Carmina Burana too. :o)
Angie, you're a goddess among mortals! Thanks for sharing this link. I'm in love with everything! Good thing I just became employed again. :o)
I just added this to my Netflix list.
I also added a movie called ZA: Zombie Anonymous - about people who become zombies and lose their health benefits and jobs. Sounds interesting, no?
