Technically a marmot is a member of the genus that contains squirrels. They are all named Gary. Makes a mean zombie, too.
Straczynski is reasonably credible, but from what I have heard they are going to screw it up. For example, my understanding is that they've re-named the narrator (the Max Brooks character) something other than Max Brooks, abandoning one of the coolest reflexive devices in zombie fiction.Nonetheless, I'll see it opening day, first showing. That book is amazing. Any movie based on it will get a fair and impartial viewing from me regardless of whether the narrator is named Max Brooks or Gary the Wonder Marmot.
