The main 4 networks will whack ya in 4 weeks if they do..."I was speaking of quality and production... Original doesn't do anyone any good if it's still given the garage budget treatment and pimped as 'network'. But I don't subscribe to TV anyway, since most is disappointing.
L4D2 is a great game, plus all the maps for L4D seem to work in the new game as well, so I've already got a new game with plenty of new Campaigns to screw with. The Chainsaw is novel, the sword is the best.
Jonathan wrote: "Nope...one of the bigger networks is developing the pilot, but details are still under wraps."That is good, SYFY couldn't buy a clue on how to manage good TV if it hit them in the face. Many good properties get aborted to quickly on that station. Hope it survives the conversion with little problems.

I would rather have no one to be honest"We get all the burnt out artists that no one cares about anymore. The only current famous people that come around only do so because they buy up alot of land and want to be left alone.
Jo wrote: "Damn living in England!"LOL, try living in the 2nd least populated state, but the 4th largest in area! We get NO ONE!

With all the total conversion mods that are out based on Hammer [Valves Mod Tool Kit foundation:], for PC users, we still have allot of life left in the original. They are coming out with new maps daily for the PC and it's never a dull moment. I do think console people get ripped off, they have to pay Xbox gamer points for the new DLC coming out, but it's free to PC users. I like Valves work, but I'll wait on getting L4D2.
Personally I think the L4D2 is way to early. I'll sit on it. I can guarantee you that the mod community for PC will make a mod that will have everything [or close to it:] that L4D2 has.
Martyrs was good, one of the few horror films that actually believed in character development, unlike the crap we call Hostel.
way too soon for this, I'll wait till I've bleed dry the original, hell we just got the SDK for PC and custom maps are flying out everyday. I don't anticipate being bored enough to buy a sequel by that time.
Survival mode is great, if you don't have team skills you are going to die quickly. Fun stuff, glad they finally put some new stuff in. Now if we can just get the SDK, make all the custom maps official and we'll be great.
don't have a favorite zombie book but here is a new one about the evolution of zombies and pop culture.Zombie Holocaust: How the Living Dead Devoured Pop Culture David Flint (Plexus Publishing)
Zombie Holocaust is a lively history of one of the most enduring fictional archetypes: the shambling, stalking, lethal living dead. From mentally enslaved cane field workers in Haiti , first described in early-20th-century travelogues, to the mindless hordes of soulless killers that regularly destroy our civilization onscreen and on the printed page, the zombie has undergone an eye-popping transformation. With wry humor and unflinching attention to detail, this colorful book celebrates these creatures in all their fetid glory. Author David Flint excavates early accounts of how voodoo was believed to reanimate the dead, unearths horror movie incarnations from Bela Lugosi’s White Zombie to George Romero’s cult classics to recent Eurotrash zombies, showcases graphic novel and comic book versions like EC’s putrefying nasties and Marvel’s Tales of the Zombie, and much more. The book is both a fun pop culture survey and a deeper study of what underlies the undiminished popularity of these terrifying, tragic figures in an anxious, post-9/11 world.
definitley zombie-ish elements, didn't know if Kim was specifically looking for zombie's or not. Still good books though!
I wouldn't say I Am Legend is a zombie book by far. IMO, if you've read the original, you know they are not zombies, but another classic monster. I won't ruin it for those who haven't read it yet. Good book, but not a zombie book.
I forgot about Zombies Ate My Neighbors, that game was fun. House Of The Dead was great too, I've got a copy on my antiquated Dreamcast and an arcade version emultaed on my PC.It's also about time for the DLC for L4D [PC & 360:] and the Survivor mode sounds hard yet fun, I'm really excited about the SDK, mappers can finally finish up all the custom maps that they've got online! No more dev console to load!!!
