Today I finished The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. This was a 5 star book for me. I really enjoyed it. If someone could please tell me why the 3 days and 3 nights of rest are no longer observed during that time of the month, I would appreciate it. I could really take advantage of that kind of rest once a month. :)

Just finished The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I happened to check and there is was on the classics shelf....yipee! Although it was long, I thought it was a great and very emotional book. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't already read it. 5 Stars!

I read From a Buick 8 by Stephen King and give it 4 stars. I really liked this book and was happy to see that it actually had a real ending with all the loose ends tied up. Usually King's books leave you hanging, so I was excited to know for sure what happened.
I'm with you guys....I would classify Stephen King as horror, but there it was under science-fiction.
from what I read, you use the first 5 pages of shelves for a book.
