Still have a few days left....
Because of GRs, I have read some wonderful books, books I would never have picked up.
BLINDNESS, THE BOOK THEIF, LIFE OF PI, and a lot others.
thank you all my friends!!!

I am getting the book THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OF JONATHAN TOOMEY by Susan Wojciechouski for my boys. I get them a Christmas book every year.

Not sure yet...
I finished THE HOUSE ON MANGO STREET. I really enjoyed the short, to the point chapters. I can see ho this would be a YA book that is taught in schools.
No onto R...hmmmm.... Why is this so hard???
Vickie, I will let you know!!
And Fiona, I'm not sure about your ? about THE STAND. Where you live? Which Question?
I found one!!! My hubby built a book shelve for me, and I was putting my books on it and found one.
the HOUSE ON MANGO STREET by Sandra Cisneros. Yes!!
I have looked at all the books i have here. I am going to the library in the morning to look for a H book. It can't be that hard.
I am having a hard time finding an "H" book!!
I have THE HISTORIAN", but I am not in the mood for that. Because you do have to read them in order, right?
Help!
I finished A CHRISTMAS CAROL!! I read the book, then the pop-up book with my boys, then watched the movie with George C. Scott. It was so good!
Now on to H.
I am going to read INTO THIN AIR by Jon Krakauer. I have read several of his, and I ahve heard this one is good.
I love a good challenge!! I am so competitive, and love to keep up with what everyone is reading and their points! I am doing the fall challenge with TNBBC and am keeping up with the 1001 books before you die, even though, I can say I will never read most of those books, I still love the spread sheets.
I read SAY GOODBYE by Lisa Gardner. It was very good, and remminded me why my husband and I are such freaks about letting our boys out of our sites. This book is in a series, but you don't have to read them in order. It was a quick read and I would recommend it!
I have never read any of these books. I am hoping my boys will want to read them one day, then maybe I will.
