8361 Janet- somewhere along the line I signed up for barnes and noble e-mails and it seems like every week they send a new 10-20% off coupon. So that might be an option for you. Also, if you know anyone else who has the B&N membership, all you need if their phone number to get the discount. Hope this helps!

8361 I actually took this test in one of my psych classes and I was an INFJ as well. The book Please Understand Me Character and Temperament Types gives really good descriptions of all the personality types.

8361 Emily- I agree with Lynn, the Weepies are definitely worth delving into!

8361 I am reading a book right now called Choose Peace & Happiness, and although it might not work for everyone, I am loving it! It is basically about the power of positive thinking and what you can accomplish with it. But more than that, it gives exercises that you can do daily or whenever you want to help you actually experience it, not just read about it.

Some examples: make a list of things that bring you happiness, acknowledge your accomplishments for today (no matter how small), wear a new outfit that you have been saving, turn your lunch hour into vacation time, start and end your day with a prayer (thoughts) of appreciation, etc...

8361 I'm taking ASL at a j.c. starting the first week in February. I have always wanted to learn sign language so I am really excited about it!
8361 Yay! That's good to hear, I will keep reading!
8361 I am actually having a hard time getting into this book...did anyone else have a similar experience? I know I will love it eventually, but I am having trouble sticking with it.

8361 I have made this recipe twice this month for my office and they LOVE it. It is also unbelievably easy and requires no baking!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
4 tablespoons peanut butter

DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
